The Knoxville News-Sentinel has a wonderful story of the reunion that was held at the Tennessee Theater for the 1985 Vols football team last night. January 1, 1986 Tennessee wins the Sugar Bowl led by Coach Johnny Majors.

What a time to be in your hometown and supporting the Vols. I have always supported Coach Fulmer and the rest of the coaching staff. The days of Coach Majors departure are gone. Coach Majors was a colorful coach and one that fans either loved or hated. I was always a fan of Coach Majors and am glad to see that he was warmly received back in Big Orange Country for the reunion.
