The day before the current Knox County Republican Chair’s term ends citizens across Knox County received the invitation photographed below. It seems that the current Chair and her husband are hosting an event for controversial County Commissioner Jeff Ownby in seeking re-election in 2016. Childhelp USA Executive Hugh Nystrom has already began making contacts through out the fourth district about his plans to seek the Fourth District County Commission position, two potential candidates have already backed out to support Nystrom.

A source asked if having the event at the 2013-2015 Knox County Republican Chairman’s residence is an indication that a pavilion at West Hills Park was unavailable.
