A BrianHornback.Com source reports that this evening at the Fountain City/North Knox Republican Club, John Fugate, former Interim Second District School Board Member announced that he will challenge, Democrat Amy Broyles for the Second District County Commission seat. Broyles is technically term limited, but due to a loop hole it has been suggested that she may try and run for re-election in 2016. This candidacy could be lights out for the Knox County Democrat Party.

In some what related news, the Fourth District is a buzz that Hugh Nystrom is gathering support from others that had been testing the waters to challenge Jeff Ownby. Nystrom is the Director of Community Relations, Tennessee for Childhelp Children’s Center.
