2024 Knox County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner

Last night Friday March 8, 2024 the Knox County Republican Party gathered at Rothchild Catering and Conference Center at 8807 Kingston Pike in Knoxville for the 2024 Lincoln Day Dinner. This years Speaker was scheduled to be United States Senator Marsha Blackburn. Included in the delay in leaving the Capitol was United States Congressman Tim Burchett.

The Senator was in Washington, DC because Democrat Chuck Schumer is incompetent and has held the Senators in Washington. If I really believed Schumer were clever enough to do to punish Blackburn, but we know that as he lacks competence, then he also lacks cleverness.

The nearly 300 attendees enjoyed a meal of spinach stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll and cheesecake. Former United States Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr. and Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs were the Speakers. In addition, Mayor Jacobs read some prepared remarks on behalf of Senator Blackburn.
