Since the City of Knoxville August primary, there’s been much chatter about one candidate being a Democrat and one being a Republican.

How many people Trust but Verify? Or as I have heard before, don’t expect but inspect. So  Eddie Mannis claims to be a Republican. But last year in the Governors race, when the GOP had Bill Lee, Knoxvillian Randy Boyd, Congresswoman Diane Black and TN Speaker of the House Beth Harwell. So, Mannis posted on his Facebook page his support of Nashvillian Karl Dean for Governor. A source inside the Mannis campaign has informed me that one of the Dean organizers is assisting Mannis with canvassing Knoxville.

So, while Indya Kincannon or Eddie Mannis may win the Mayors race on Tuesday. One thought that I was taught early and still consider on a regular basis is, if one lies about the little things, they will lie about the big things too
