Tonight the proposed Rezoning on Beverly Road generated about 50 opponents and the rezoning was withdrawn. The rezoning was for 210 homes and had been approved unanimously by the Metropolitan Planning Commission.

After the application was withdrawn at tonight’s County Commission meeting, Commissioner Brad Anders asked about an industrial concept that includes apartments. MPC Director Gerald Green said with the current zoning in place the concept could be built without review.
