Everyone on the Knox County March 3, 2020 primary ballots (except for Tina Marshall, candidate for Property Assessor) filed their campaign financial disclosures by January 31, 2020. The period for this report covered July 1, 2019 through January 15, 2020. The campaigns had 16 days to fill the reports. I was told by a source at the Knox County Election Commission that Marshall’s campaign had reached out to them and the indication was that the campaign likely will file by Monday February 3, 2020. A provision in the law, is that if it is mailed and postmarked by January 31, 2020, it is considered timely filed, anything else is late.

I will report that Knox County Property Assessor John R. Whitehead‘s disclosure shows $11,090.99 last report, received $88,025.00, spent $5,834.23 with $93,281.76 on hand which includes a $35,000 loan. A more detailed report will be included, once his opponent’s disclosure is publicly available.
