Join TN State House of Representative Mike Carter to discuss Tennessee TaxPayer Relief.

Why: Much angst was expressed recently when a Governor raised Gas Taxes although sitting on record & growing TN Budget operating surpluses. Now Tennesseans have an opportunity to rectify excessive taxation

HOW/Action Plan: Become involved:

1) Learn about pending Tennessee Taxpayer Relief legislation (Formally known as “Surplus Income and Tax Relief Act of 2020” HB 641/SB 716)

2) Share your opinions and commitment with your fellow Tennesseans.

3) Ensure that your individual TGA Senator & House Representative understand the importance of Tennessee Taxpayer Relief to all

4) Explain to your TGA Legislators that their support & votes on Tennessee Taxpayer Relief will be a salient factor when you consider reelecting them this fall.

Many of you remember Mike Carter as the Representative from Ooltewah, TN who Championed the enactment of Tennessee PC 707; The Law That Ended Forced Annexation in Tennessee. Now after several years of diligent study, Rep. Carter concludes it is time for Tennessee Taxpayer Relief.
