Is it, or Ain’t It? a COVID-19 Knoxville/KnoxCounty Update

Last week, Dr. Martha Buchanan held a press conference (as she has done nearly daily), Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon declared a State of Emergency. Nothing from Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs about a State of Emergency.

Yesterday, government employees got communication that a Joint Information Center (JIC) has been assembled to help disseminate appropriate messaging. The primary disseminator of information from the JIC as of yesterday’s announcement is Rob Link, who runs Jacobs Communication Department.

Now, according to Buchanan’s presser yesterday we have one in County and one County resident that is currently NOT in the county with COVID-19.

Let’s keep doing whatever the heck we are doing.
