This morning, I discover from Constance Every’s FB that last night the Black Lives Matter Mural was vandalized. Apparently oil or a black/dark paint substance was poured on it. When KPD responded about 1:20 am, they called the Knoxville Service Department that placed sand or an absorbing type substance  on the dumped chemical. The chemical was dumped on the word Black and then obviously traffic spread it over the mural.

This is NOT good for Knoxville at all. It will likely make National news.
