The TN Trial Court Vacancy Committee met today and interviewed 8 applicants read here for the Chancery position held by Mike Moyers.
A Knoxville lawyer spoke to the Committee in opposition to Chris Heagerty. Heagerty responded to the complaint in admitting that from 2004-2014 he abused alcohol, entered an 11 week rehab program, went through a divorce and has been sober for 6 years, 3 months and 29 days.
After the Committee of 9 interviewed everyone (which I watched most of it) they selected three to send to Governor Bill Lee. The three in alphabetical order are:
