Last night during the Knox County Board of Health, Dr. James Shamiyeh made a point about the media not communicating the message of the Health Board actions and discussions.

Let me step up with this #MegaBullhornofTruth and sound off on the lame stream media.

Dr. Shamiyeh is right for example Knoxville’s daily paper would rather put the name of a fictional character of WWE in its headline and stories about our Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs. Additionally, just this morning an entire front page article accuses an appellate court panel of Judges of reverse racism. Racism is wrong period, whether it’s going forward or backwards. I am not a lawyer or a Judge, but in my opinion there had to be more in overturning a conviction than bias on a panel of Judges part.

As the old saying goes if it bleeds it leads. In 2020, if the Reporter(ette) gets a lot of clicks on the internet and social media support, they survive all the reduction in force aka layoffs. Cause it about selling papers or in today’s world digital subscriptions and each story purchased on the internet, especially across the world, because they think they are reading about their favorite wrestler. BUT, I digress.
