Tomorrow’s public Vaccination Clinic will not be the only opportunity to get the COVID vaccine. There are 500 doses for tomorrow’s event at the Expo Center (near the corner of Clinton Highway and Merchants Drive in North Knoxville)

This clinic will not be the only opportunity to get vaccinated. As the Knox County Health Department receives more vaccine, they will announce more options — Some of which will include scheduled appointments. So, if a first come, first serve clinic, like they are holding tomorrow, isn’t ideal for those medically fragile and older populations, those folks should wait for an opportunity that’s more conducive to their situation.

The bottom line that everyone needs to understand is that the Knox County Health Department will be receiving more vaccine and there will be more vaccination options. This is just the first of many more opportunities to come.
