Last year (2020), I reported here on January 13, 2020 that Knox County School Board Member Mike McMillan had multiple properties in Knox County where property taxes were unpaid for two years. Ultimately, they were made current, part of them paid as reported here on January 17, 2020 as all were paid as reported here on February 27, 2020.

As we (Knox County taxpayers) know property taxes for 2020 were due on February 28, 2021. the same five properties that were past due for two years are now past due for 2020 with penalties continuing to add to McMillan’s debt to Knox County.

As of this day August 4, 2021 the debt as reflected on the Knox County website is in excess of $1,900.00.
