EXTENDED HOURS FOR LAST THREE DAYS OF EARLY VOTING

The last three days of Early Voting for the 2021 City of Knoxville Regular Election will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (October 26, 27, and 28).

All six (6) locations will be open from 10 am until 7 pm on all three (3) days with the following exceptions:

  • Meridian Baptist Church in south Knoxville will close on Wednesday, October 27th at 5 pm
  • The City County Building location will open at Noon on Thursday, October 28th

ABSENTEE BY MAIL BALLOTS

Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 is the last day that City of Knoxville residents can request an absentee by mail ballot for the 2021 City of Knoxville Regular Election.

City of Knoxville residents can download the absentee by mail application fromwww.knoxvotes.org or can request one by calling the Election Commission office at 865-215-2480.

The ballot must be mailed back to the Knox County Election Commission. Ballots cannot be hand-delivered to either a polling place or to an Election Commission office.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE IN THE 2021 CITY OF KNOXVILLE REGULAR ELECTION?

All registered voters that reside in the City of Knoxville, including residents of the 5th City Council District, are eligible to vote in the City of Knoxville Regular Election.

The ballot for all voters will have all five (5) races (City Council Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6).

Election Day is Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Polls will be open from 8 am until 8 pm on Election Day.
