Several Elected officials host Christmas events in the City County Building to give the public service employees something in appreciation of their work.

Mayor Jacobs serving and yes that is Knox County Commissioner at Large and Vice Chairman of Commission Justin Biggs with a BIG plate. Register of Deeds Nick McBride and his office had a breakfast on December 1st. Knox Sheriff Spanky Spangler and his staff had lunch on December 7 in the small assembly room.

Well, yesterday Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs rose above the crowd (not just in his physical stature, but in his breakfast offerings) He and his staff served Waffle House 😮, yep you read that right, Waffle House.

The after breakfast reports I received were phenomenal. BTW, I didn’t have advance notice aka an invitation, so the pics I received were provided after asking for them.

I have asked the Santa Mayor that for Christmas I would like an invite to next years breakfast. I will keep you posted next year, if I get it
