According to the Knox County Sheriffs Facebook page, several individuals have retired from the department. Lt. Gabe Mullinax, last year the Lt. served on the task force of County Commissioners, Sheriffs staffers, Merit System staff and Council members and a citizen.

In addition, Butch Bryant, Attorney has retired. With Bryant’s retirement, that leaves Mike Ruble and former District Attorney General Randy Nichols on staff as the legal counselors and of course outside counsel Gary Prince.  

also retiring according to the post were Detective Tim Morgan, Lt Allen Merritt, Sgt. Becky Holbert and Pam Braden.
