Democrat US Representative Jim Cooper is retiring, Several Republicans are popping up to run, Donald Trump endorsed Megan Ortagus, businesman Baxter Lee. Both are rumored to have the two most active campaign teams engaged.

National Guard Brigadier General Kurt Winstead. Ortagus announced almost immediately on Copper’s announcement.

This morning, one of my favorite people former TN Republican Party Chair, former TN Speaker of the House Beth Harwell announced.

After her announcement, Winstead announced. I do not believe Lee has officially announced yet. Additionally, a video producer Robby Starbuck is rumored to be considering a run. Maury County Mayor Andy Ogles is rumored to be looking into a run as well.

Former Republican United States Senate candidate Dr. Manny Sethi has announced he will NOT be a Congressional candidate
