As a candidate for TN State House of Representatives District 18 and Vice Chair of the Knox County Republican Party, Elaine Davis has informed the Knox County Executive Committee of her leave of absence in a letter received today.

As the State Executive Committeeman for District 6, I am a member of the County Executive Committee. I asked Davis for permission to share this on the blog. I do not want to misuse my position with the party for the benefit of this blog, so I seek permission first.
