Concord Farragut Republican Club June Meeting as Summer Political Campaigning Begins

Tonight at the Fruition Cafe on West End Avenue in the Town of Farragut about 40 Republicans gathered and heard from several candidates.

Town of Farragut Alderman candidates Adam Atherton running for Alderman Ward 1 and David White running for Alderman Ward 2 were present and introduced themselves. Bill Johns, Candidate for Town of Farragut Mayor was present and was one of the Speakers, his talk is here.

Republican District Attorney General Charme Allen also spoke about the operation of the DA’s office. Allen will be on the Knox County General Election ballot on August 4, Early Voting July 15-30, her talk is here.

Kim Frazier, Republican nominee for Knox County at Large Seat 11 spoke briefly as did Knox County General Sessions Court Judge Division I Chuck Cerny.

Janis Crye, Candidate for TN Republican State Executive Committeewoman in District 7 (State Senator Dr. Richard Briggs) and Wayne Sellars. Candidate for TN Republican State Executive Committeeman in District 7 were present. Obviously, I was in attendance and fielded some questions about the TN Republican State Executive Committee. I serve District 6 (State Senator Becky Duncan Massey) and will also be on the August 4 Republican ballot.
