As many of you know, my Mom passed away from this earth on January 9, 2015 after a strong many years battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis . In her obituary, one of her in lieu of flowers request was gifts to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

Since her passing, I have worked with PFF with donations, spreading the word about PFF and the last couple of years have participated in PFF’s legislative work in Washington with Congress and Senate.

Thanks to Facebook, i learned that StatCare in East TN has a PFF walk in KNOXVILLE. So, i walked up and then let me participate. Next year, i will participate and raise some dollars. This year, I gave some and was happy to at least know there are others like me that have experienced loss and others that live with this disease with no cure and takes the one thing we take for granted, breathing.
