This evening former Knoxville Fire Department Captain & Spokesperson D J Corcoran launched his 2024 Knox County Commission campaign to represent the Eighth District.

Corcoran is the younger brother of Knox County Clerk and former Register of Deeds Sherry Witt. Corcoran and his wife Wendy are well known and have been very engaged in many different aspects of Knoxville & Knox County.

The campaign launch was held at New Harvest Park, Blue Bell Ice Cream was served. Corcoran likely because of his job as Spokesman for KFD, has one advantage. His talk is brief, here that alone is needed on County Commission, less talk.
