In the last week or so, I was made aware of Town of Farragut Municipal Court having a hearing over the issuance of a violation to resident property owner Sean Murphy over a sign display in Murphy’s yard.

I was prepared to attend the hearing. However, Mr. Murphy contacted me shortly after 4 pm that,

“My display is being called a temporary parcel sign.  Their definition of it is for an event or an activity.  My display is neither.”

“I received an email at 4pm (June 12, two hours before hearing) that the hearing is delayed until July 19th.  The town is going to put a notice in the paper as well.  The hearing will be just for me.”  

So, i guess July 19, 2023 I will be at the Town of Farragut. The below picture was provided to me by Mr. Murphy, of the display that the Town has cited him as a violation. That Mr. Murphy calls ”yard art”.
