League of Women Voters of Knoxville and Knox County host School Board Forum

Yesterday January 30, 2024 the League of Women Voters of Knoxville and Knox County hosted a candidate forum for member and candidates of Knox County School Board. It was held at East Knoxville’s Lennon-Seney United Methodist Church

Second District – Incumbent Jennifer Owen (Independent) Democrat Anne Templeton attended, Independent Pat Polis did not.

Third District – Republican Robert Daspit and Democrat Patricia Fontenot-Ridley participated and Republican Angie Goethert had a previous commitment.

Fifth District – Republican Lauren Morgan had a previous commitment. Democrat Terrye Whitaker attended.

Eighth District – Republican Travis Wright haf committed to attend, but was unable to make it at the last minute. Tommy Lakins had a previous commitment.
