Democrat Primaries in Knox County? Democrat Primaries in Tennessee? They do not happen often. However, TN State Representative Sam McKenzie has a probable Democrat Primary Opponent in the August 1, 2024 Democrat Primary. Knox County Commissioner Dr. Dasha Lundy picked up a petition today and the filing deadline to turn in a petition of 25 registered voters from the legislative district. The filing deadline is April 4th at NOON.
