Last evening, Thursday August 22, 2024 Mike Hammond, Criminal Court Clerk for Knox County spoke at the Center City Conservatives Republican Club.

Hammond spoke about the office when he went in, the changes and streamlined services they implemented in helping Knox County citizens. Knox County is second highest in the state for persons driving on revoked, suspended or no drivers license. He talked about his office initiative to help citizens reclaim their drivers license.

Hammond has announced his intention to seek the position of Knox County Mayor in 2026. Mayor Jacobs is term limited and ineligible to seek a third term.

Knox County Trustee Justin Biggs also attended the meeting and gave an update of the new and expanded services of the Trustee’s office.
