His website disclosure says Paid for By Friends of Bo Mitchell, James R, Mitchell, Treasurer. Only a Wikipedia search reveals that one Bo Mitchell is James R. “Bo” Mitchell. While state law allows one to be there own Treasurer, Do the donors know that Friends of Bo Mitchell with Treasurer James R. Mitchell the same Mitchell.

I encourage you to watch the committee meeting here, it is less than 13 minute committee meeting. This HJR was so important to James R Mitchell that he did not attend the committee. In fact, the committee took a two – three minute break for Chairman Rudd to get word from James R. Mitchell that he wanted to roll the bill to first calendar of 2026, (January or February 2026). So, he wants to hang this over Tennessee Coordinator of Elections Mark Goins another 7-10 months.

A reasonable man would and will conclude that this is all just James R. Mitchell’s “butt hurt” failed attempt in May 2024 to kick off his Republican opponent, Metro Nashville Council Member Jennifer Frensley Webb, read my post from that right here.
