My readers know I watch a whole lot of government bodies as they meet. I even watch ones not from around here, I watch Hamilton County (Chattanooga) among some from across the country. My absolute favorite is here the Prime Minister Questions from across the pond.
This week Knox Planning became must see tv, In June the Knox Planning Commission will elect a new Chair and Vice Chair. Chairman Tim Hill will not remain as Chair, the nominating committee of Commissioner Perez, Browning and Boyer have recommended Vice Chair John Huber as Chair and Commissioner Rich Levinson as Vice Chair. The ever contentious Commissioner Amy Midis has nominated Commissioner Nick Gill for Chair, she must not like Huber, because that is the only nomination Midis made at last nights meeting, choosing NOT to nominate an opponent to Levinson. Commissioner Gill was not at the meeting last night, thus the ole when you don’t attend, you lack control for what happens or is said about you.

At Tuesday’s agenda review meeting Midis also voiced discontent here with always being third from last on the roll call order of voting. Chairman Hill listened, engaged with Midis and agreed that it was valid concern. Then on Thursday, Midis was the FIRST on roll call, so she wasn’t third from last.
