Corcoran lost the Republican primary in March 2024 to Commissioner Adam Thompson, a Corryton farmer.
Corcoran reported a remaining balance of $2,349.15 in his previous filing, likely from January 2025. Since then, he received $430.95 in donations—all from his wife—and spent a total of $2,780.10 before closing the account.
His expenditures included a series of donations to local political figures and community organizations:
- $1,500 to Emerald Youth Foundation
- $200 to Elect Larsen Jay
- $270.02 to Knox County Young Republicans
- $270.02 to Elect Richie Beeler (former County Commissioner and current candidate for Knox County Clerk)
- $270.02 to the opponent of Knox County Trustee Justin Biggs
- $270.04 to his sister, the term-limited Knox County Clerk and former Register of Deeds
Commissioner Adam Thompson, who defeated Corcoran in the primary, reported no new donations and $199.00 in spending. He currently holds $2,837.32 in his campaign account, down from $3,034.86 in his previous report.
