Our Republican Mayor Mike Ragsdale last week was elected as the new President of the Tennessee Association of County Mayors. His duties begin immediately and he will oversee common issues among the state’s 95 counties. He will oversee the association’s County Government Day in Nashville in March 2006 and the annual TCSA conference to be held here in Knoxville next fall.
