Ronnie Earle tried to take out Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison,she was found to be innocent of his charges. The Democrats and liberals wanted to remove Delay from the leadership. They succeeded because the Republican’s have a rule that if you are under indictment you must step down from leadership positions. The Democrats have NO rule, they can and do serve while under indictment.
