Tonight, there was considerable discussion at the school board workshop. Dr. Lindsey has recommended (and rightly so) to maintain the 1800-2000 student capacity.

An interesting sidebar that has been brought to my attention:
On December 7, 2005 the 5th District School Board member has announced a public meeting for January 10, 2006 at A.L. Lotts for the purpose of receiving input about the new high school, however the vote will on the schematic (the plan that will go to bid) will be held tomorrow January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. in the Main Assembly Room of the City-County Building.
