The Mega Bullhorn of Truth, a Brian Hornback Production, is proud to announce two in-kind advertisements for the November 4, 2025 election, provided by our parent company, BRH, LLC. These ads aim to amplify voices that align with the interests of our community in Knoxville and beyond.
Supporting KnoxvilleAgainstRaisingTaxes PAC
The first in-kind ad supports KnoxvilleAgainstRaisingTaxes, a Political Action Committee (PAC) dedicated to opposing the proposed Knoxville sales tax increase. This PAC, led by my friends R. Bentley Marlow and Parker Bartholomew, is one of two formed to fight this tax hike. With 80% of Knox County’s retail concentrated in Knoxville—largely due to the aggressive annexation policies of the 1980s and 1990s under Mayor Victor Ashe—this tax increase will impact residents far beyond city limits. The vote on this city action affects everyone in the region, and KnoxvilleAgainstRaisingTaxes is standing up for fiscal responsibility. Visit their website at here to learn more and get involved.
Backing Jeff Talman for Fourth District Knoxville City Council
The second in-kind ad supports Jeff Talman, a candidate for Knoxville City Council in the Fourth District. As a mortgage businessman and a longtime acquaintance of mine, Jeff brings a deep understanding of Knoxville’s history and a commitment to avoiding past mistakes. Jeff stands firmly against the sales tax increase, in stark contrast to his opponent, who supports it. This difference highlights a critical issue: Jeff’s opponent appears out of touch with the constituents he claims to represent. If he cannot align with the public on a significant issue like the sales tax, it raises concerns about his attentiveness to critical Fourth District matters, such as land use. Jeff Talman, with his experience and principled stance, is the clear choice for responsive leadership.. Visit Talman’s Facebook page here
