Justin Bradford Mowery

He started his career as a security guard at UT Medical Center and was dedicated to the safety of their level one trauma center. He went on to become an officer for the Blount County Sheriff’s Office and furthered his dedication by joining the Breacher Team with SWAT as well as working as a field training officer for new recruits. A highlight of his career has been being deputized as a member of the United States Marshalls Smokey Mountain Fugitive Task Force.

In his free time, Justin loved fishing and duck hunting with his friends and occasionally his dog Ruger. You could find him daily at the gym as he was committed to his health and fitness. Justin was a faithful member of First Baptist Concord where he had many close friends throughout his life.

He is survived by his mother; Donna Mowery, brother; Jarod Scott Mowery, uncles; Samuel and Steve Hooker, his uncle Steve Mowery as well as an extended family that he deeply loved. His team and shift at the Blount County Sheriff’s Office were loved as family.
