This evening, the Concord Farragut Republican Club gathered at its regular meeting spot, Fruition Cafe in Farragut, Tennessee. The restaurant was bustling with energy as 45 attendees signed in.

The meeting served as an excellent forum for local candidates seeking office in the upcoming Town of Farragut elections, specifically for Mayor, Alderman South Ward, and Alderman North Ward.

Mayoral Note Mayoral candidate Alex Cain was unable to attend due to a funeral. He is scheduled to appear with fellow Mayoral candidate Louise Povlin (who was present tonight) before the club on July 2, 2026

South Ward Candidates

First, were the candidates for South Ward Alderman: incumbent Alderman Joe LaCroix and challenger Greg Wiberley. Each candidate delivered approximately seven minutes of remarks, followed by a series of three questions directed to both. The thoughtful presentations and exchange offered attendees a clear look at the priorities and visions each brings to the position.

North Ward Candidates

Next up were the North Ward Alderman candidates: Joey Ruffalo and Dian Hall. Following the same format, each candidate spoke for roughly seven minutes before fielding three questions from the audience. The discussion highlighted key local issues facing North Ward and the broader community.

Additional Context: Term-limited North Ward Alderman and current Vice Mayor Scott Meyer, not seeking election and isn’t jumping to another spot, oh that is only in Knox County, a freaking joke, don’t take everything so serious).
