Today about 11:30 a.m. I pulled into the Apple Blossom Cafe located at 409 Cullom St. in Clinton, TN. The restaurant was filling up, and I am sure it is like this every day at lunch and dinner. But at NOON, Republican Congressman John Rose, his wife Chelsea and their oldest son Guy came in door. This is the Anderson County stop on the Tennessee True Townhall.
Congressman Rose, his wife was joined by Clinton City Council member Wendy Maness and Businessman and former Clinton Manager Steve Jones. They sat at a table like many of us did in Tennessee back in the good days. One of the comments that Congressman Rose made that resonated with the crowd is that folks moving here 500 a day “can come here BUT they need to BECOME Tennessee”. Not moving here and then attempt to change Tennessee to the state you allegedly fled. Congressman Rose was asked about data centers; he explained what Elon Musk has done with his two facilities in Memphis (Shelby County), TN where the facility is bearing the expenses for electricity and utilizing the water, in a very unique manner.
