The League of Women Voters of Knoxville/Knox County (LWVKKC) is hosting an inaugural Voterpalooza on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dr. Walter Hardy Park. This free, family-friendly, community celebration will bring neighbors together, inspire civic engagement, connect residents with valuable voter resources, and create meaningful opportunities for conversations between voters and the candidates on the August 6 ballot.
Attendees will enjoy live music, entertainment, food, games, activities, community resource booths, and the opportunity to talk with 20 candidates on the Aug. 6 ballot. Everyone is welcome, but please RSVP here to ensure plenty of food and drinks for everyone.
The entertainment will kick off at 10 a.m., followed by conversations with the candidates from 10:45–noon. More entertainment will follow before the second session of conversations with the candidates from 12:45–1:30 p.m.
Voterpalooza is also supported by the following community partners:
• the American Muslim Advisory Council,
• Centro Hispano de East Tennessee,
• Comunidades en Acción,
• Delta Sigma Theta Sorority – Knoxville Alumnae Chapter,
