Brian’s Blog issued a request for all dates, times and locations of the Community forums. In a casual conversation with Superintendent Mullins, I indicated that we had issued the request. He said they were already working on formalizing and would be putting the list out. Below is the Media Advisory that Knox County Schools issued this afternoon.

Forums scheduled with School Board members

Knox County Board of Education members have scheduled the following sessions to discuss their constituents’ concerns about the proposed high school zoning action. Meetings are currently scheduled to be hosted by the following board members:

Dr. Dan Murphy April 19 7:00 p.m. Bearden High School Cafeteria

Karen Carson April 19 7:00 p.m. Cedar Bluff Middle School Cafeteria

Sam Anderson April 19 7:00 p.m. Chilhowee Intermediate School

Thomas Deakins April 23 6:00 p.m. Farragut High School Auditorium

Cindy Buttry April 24 6:30 p.m. Karns High School Auditorium
