This is former Knoxville Mayor Victor Ashe. President George Bush appointed him in 2001 to the Board of Frannie Mae. Ashe served until May 24, 2004. Did he do at the Board meetings what he did in this photo. Throwing up his hands. Have you heard a word out of Ashe about all the excesses that he discovered while at Frannie? Have you heard of his efforts from 2001 – 2004 in cleaning up Frannie Mae? Of course not.

So, is the former Mayor to blame for this crisis? It looks like just another big empty building, you know just like the Knoxville Convention Center that he insisted that Knoxville build.
