In Hampton County South Carolina the Mayor was filling up his car with gas and charging the town for it. He didn’t have a county issued car, he didn’t have a car allowance. Between May 25, 2009 and May 5, 2010 he got less than $2,000 of gas. The town called SLED, which is the TBI equivalent in South Carolina and after an investigation the mayor is arrested and charged.
