Former resident of Knox County died in a horrible accident last night. Twenty Seven year old Lauren (Woodall) Roady now of Washington, DC was killed when a Lexington fire truck ran over her at about 10 pm. The accident occurred at the intersection of North Broadway and West Main Street in Lexington.

Roady is the daughter of retired City of Knoxville Attorney Sharon Boyce and retired TVA Attorney Jack Woodall. The family are longtime residents and community activists in the South West Knox County community of Bluegrass. A family friend indicated that Roady married her husband about two months ago.
