State Republican Executive Committeeman Ken Gross was rumored to be a candidate for Chairman of the Knox County Republican Party. He posted a comment on this blog that he was not running. He then jumped back in the campaign (according to a weekly news print publication owned by the Big Metal Shed on the Hill) and was scheduled to participate in a couple of club meetings to introduce himself to the club members. Aparently, he sent an email last evening after being scheduled at the West Knox Republican Club that he is no longer a candidate AGAIN.

That leaves longtime Republican activists Buddy Burkhardt and John Gabriel and former Failed Republican County Commission Candidate Ruth Kuhlman. She lost to Former County Commissioner and current City Councilman Finbarr Saunders.
