A couple weeks ago, the Property Assessor performed the marriage of once retired Property Assessor employee Paula Strader. Who thanks to the Property Assessor is now Paula Whitehead. Whitehead? Yeah, Whitehead. But apparently no relation to the Property Assessors former Republican Primary opponent John Whitehead and by the way the last competent Property Assessor Knox County has had.

Speaking of Paula Strader now Paula Whitehead. Back in December, the Property Assessor called a meeting in the office and tearfully announced that Mrs. Strader would be retiring and how much she had contributed to the office.

Shockingly, she is now rumored to be drawing unemployment. Yes, unemployment benefits that are your Knox County tax dollars. Of course, the paperwork has likely been changed. But the video of his tearful speech about her retirement has not changed.
