Multiple sources at the last Halls Republican Club informed me that weekly throw away newspaper Publisher Steve Hunley grilled State Rep. Harry Brooks and State Senator Becky Duncan Massey about why they don’t get more legislation passed since the Republicans have control of the state house and senate. He criticized them saying they should whip those West TN Republicans in line.

The legislation he wants is the partisan School Board elections. this coming from the guy that supported Democrat Madeline Rogero for Mayor of Knoxville. Instead of supporting Republican Ivan Harmon. This from a guy that only won a four year term on school board in 1996. Has never been elected Republican Party Chairman. Although several in he crowd noted that he is the current Chair by proxy.
