Last night I read this column by Sandra Clark that appeared in today’s print version of the Shopper News Now. The second part of her column “Selling Beer to Kids” details last months Beer Board meeting and how Robert Lawrence Smith was upset about how his district had a bunch of violators.

Well today as the Beer Board met and merited out some penalties to establishments that sold beer to minors in East Knox County and South Knox County. As Detective Sgt. “Wolfie” May details what happens at each establishment. He was explaining in one incident today that an underage person went in and purchased Bud Light Platinum. Several folks reacted to that particular purchase with oohs and Ahhh’s. All of the sudden you hear Robert Lawrence say “Wolfie takes it.” Yet again Chairman Norman allowed an inappropriate allegation to be leveled. Sheriff Jones needs defends his investigator against such a heinous accusation.
