This morning on WATE’s Tennessee This Week Knox County School District Administrator Mrs. Millicent Smith in responding to Gene Patterson’s question of why are people opposed to “Common Core” said because the term common. Do what? She went on to explain that her belief is that people are concerned that it is an attempt to make all students common.
She then went on to say that the criteria will allow all students to not be graded just with Tennessee. But, with National and global students. That makes them all common. Makes me think of the John Kerrey line, I was for it before I was against it.
