Tonight, Knox County Commissioner Mike Hammond kicked off his campaign with a 4:30 – 7:00 event at Calhoun’s on the River. I had to get there as it began and couldn’t stay long. Hammond was set to speak at 5:30 p.m.

The early crowd was diverse, from Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett, Former State Representative Jim Boyer, to several Republican activists, current and former Knox County employees, to current and former members of the Knox County Council PTA leadership team.
