Today the Knox County Commission office put out the work shop agenda for the February 2014 Commission Work Shop.
Item #40 is an item To be Added by Commissioner David Wright. Commissioner Wright is a pal of Embattled Property Assessor Phil Ballard and one of the Commissioners that voted for fellow Black Wednesday Commissioner Craig Leuthold to be the Commission appointed Trustee.
Leuthold faces County Commissioner Ed Shouse and Knoxville Realtor Barry Hawkins. So, Wright puts on the agenda an item to taint, make look bad Hawkins.
Can it be presumed that Commissioner Wright’s item is to involve the Commission in the Trustee’s race. Hawkins has been the most vocal candidate in comparing today’s operation by Commission appointed Trustee Leuthold to similar sized Trustee operations across the State of Tennessee.
