This post is some what tongue in cheek. I have been told that Billy Stokes has a group, “Women for Stokes” I am not sure what the gender factor is. If he were running for Fourth Circuit Court Judge maybe he would always side with women in domestic court. But he is running for Division I Circuit Court Judge. This appears to be an effort to pull votes from the lone female in the Republican primary, Kristi Davis. So, I propose “Studs and Duds for Davis” and for the other candidate Ray Jenkins I propose “Gents for Jenkins”.
Picturing Stokes as a ladies man aka Justin Beiber with all these women swooning over him is well disturbing.
There have been some questions about Stokes taking a monetary donation from a sitting Judge, one where Judges are not suppose to endorse. If that issue gets legs, so be it.
Let’s review the facts. Davis, Stokes and Jenkins are seeking the Republican Primary nomination in the primary election of May 6, 2014. Apparently there isn’t a Democrat qualified to be Circuit Court Judge Div. I because they (democrats) don’t have a candidate unless Stokes is their guy. See below.
