Smith bested Jason Emert in Thursday’s Republican State Representative District 13 Primary. Now, comes the November 4, 2014 General Election, Early Voting October 15 – 30, 2014. Smith faces Democrat Representative Gloria Johnson.

Smith in entering the General Election is the husband of Lana Keck Smith (former 1997 Miss Tennessee) and Father of two their two young children, aged 8 and 4. Smith grew up in the 13th district, first attending school at Alice Bell, Spring Hill, Holston and Gibbs community schools. He has worked since the age of 11, for the past 13.5 years he as Director of Media and Events at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. He has produced the annual Living Christmas Tree program which has become a community seasonal favorite and must attend event for the Christmas Holiday season.

Smith brings a Conservative, Reasoned and a native of District 13 choice to the voters. We will continue to follow this race.
